Kenneth Bonin, LEED®
Senior Superintendent
Kenneth holds the unique honor of being one of few LEED® Accredited superintendents and serves on McCownGordon’s Sustainability Committee. He joined the firm after 18 years of working for large general contractors around the country. In addition to serving as superintendent of the Greensburg, Kansas, K-12 school, Kenneth was involved in the Courtyard by Marriott Renovation in Kansas City and the Cloverleaf Office Park in Overland Park, Kansas. McCownGordon’s focus on building green is in line with his love for the outdoors. When he’s not gardening, Kenneth spends summers boating or fishing.

“We’re always inspired by our work on LEED projects to incorporate eco-friendly elements in our own work and home lives. With the Green Trailer, we wanted to see how far we could take the sustainable elements. Looks like we could take it pretty far.”


Jeff White, LEED®
Business Development
Jeff is an integral part of McCownGordon’s green efforts, from participating in the firm’s Sustainability Committee to creating an education program that’s open to all professionals in any industry seeking LEED® accreditation. Once a skilled carpenter and now an estimator who fine-tunes budgets, Jeff’s 20-plus year career has included many diverse aspects of construction and engineering. He’s been integral to projects including the Bartle Hall Ballroom Expansion and Meeting Room Renovation in Kansas City, Missouri; the Liberty Memorial restoration in Kansas City; and the new City Union Mission in Kansas City.
